ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS: MARCH 2026 LICENSURE EXAMINATION FOR TEACHERS (ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY LEVELS)
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), in partnership with the Board of Professional Teachers, is set to announce the results of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) for both Elementary and Secondary levels.
The LET is a crucial assessment that determines the competency of aspiring educators to practice the teaching profession in the Philippines. The Elementary level exam covers General Education and Professional Education, while the Secondary level includes these two areas plus a specialization subject relevant to the examinee's field of study.
Results will be made available on the PRC official website (https://www.prc.gov.ph/) and through the Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS). Successful examinees will be able to view their ratings, check if they are among the passers, and access information on the schedule for the oath-taking ceremony and the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration.
The PRC advises all examinees to stay updated through official channels for the exact release date and further instructions, as timelines may vary slightly from previous years.
In its pursuit of maintaining the highest standards, the BPT has made the difficult but necessary decision to withhold the examination results of fifty-seven (57) examinees. This action underscores the board's unwavering commitment to upholding the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. While the withholding of results may cause temporary disappointment for those affected, it serves as a powerful reminder that integrity and ethical conduct are paramount in the teaching profession. The BPT's decision reflects its dedication to ensuring that all licensed teachers have met the required standards of competence and ethical behavior. This commitment safeguards the interests of students and the public, reinforcing the credibility and trustworthiness of the teaching profession.
