LET Results Shatter Records: Highest Passing Rate Ever. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced a historic milestone in the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) results for 2025, with a record-breaking 65.04% passing rate nationwide. Out of 122,528 examinees, nearly 80,000 new teachers—both elementary and secondary—have earned their licenses, setting unprecedented benchmarks, especially in the secondary level.

Manila, Philippines – In a landmark announcement that has educators and aspiring teachers celebrating nationwide, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) revealed the results of the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) held on September 21 and November 30, 2025. A staggering 65.04% of examinees—79,696 out of 122,528—passed the rigorous examination, marking the highest national passing rate ever recorded in modern times. The news broke on Thursday, December 18, 2025, sending waves of excitement across the country.

The PRC detailed that 21,967 elementary teachers out of 43,035 examinees (51.04%) successfully passed, while the secondary level soared with 57,729 passers out of 79,493 examinees (72.62%). The secondary level's performance is particularly noteworthy, achieving its highest passing rate ever.

First-Timers Dominate

Further analysis of the results showed that of the 21,967 new elementary teachers, 19,924 were first-time takers, with 2,043 repeaters also achieving success. In the secondary level, 52,207 of the 57,729 passers were first-timers, while 5,522 were repeaters. This highlights the dedication and preparation of the new generation of educators.

The PRC also announced that the results of 49 examinees are currently withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. Additionally, three results were withheld for further verification of submitted documents.

To secure your credentials, successful examinees must personally complete the registration process. Ensure you have the following items ready:
  • Notice of Admission: This is required for identification purposes only.
  • Oath Form: Download and duly accomplish the Oath Form or "Panunumpa ng Propesyonal."
  • Passport Photos: Prepare two pieces of passport-size, colored photos with a white background and a complete nametag.
  • Documentary Stamps: Secure two sets of documentary stamps.
  • Short Brown Envelope: Have one short brown envelope ready for submission.
